and Conditions
All transactions are subject to the company's standard trading
conditions, which are available on request.
Import
Regulations:
Please ensure
that all customs regulations are adhered to and that your client is made aware
of them before commencing with the move and booking of services. You should do
this regardless of whether the client wishes to ship to port only or to
residence and whether the client informs you that he/she is fully aware of the
import regulations and is using their own agent (If you do not take the
appropriate steps to protect your company, the client could look to sue you for
negligence at a later date) You will be held responsible for any charges
incurred due to non-compliance.

Payment
terms:
BAR
Overseas members (bonded), 30 days from date of invoice. For non-bonded
companies, payment is required prior to despatch of the shipment unless there
is a prior agreement in place.
Services
Included:
Receiving
at our consolidation warehouse, loading into first available (or specified) groupage container, ocean freight & overseas terminal
handling charges.
Hand-out:
As
detailed above plus informal customs clearance and handing over to client at
the agent’s depot or warehouse (main ports only).
To
Residence:
As
detailed above, plus delivery to the ground floor only, unpacking (except for
Baggage consignments), setting up of basic furniture (such as beds and tables)
and removal of the packing debris on the day of delivery only.
Excluded
from Standard Services:
Customs
duties, taxes, storage and storage handling, agriculture and quarantine
inspection or fumigation fees (if ordered). Split or abnormal deliveries
(long carry) including delivery above the ground floor. Handling of heavy items
such as (but not restricted to) safes and pianos requiring additional manpower
or equipment. Assembly of modular or flat packed
furniture and any other third party services.
Additional
charges for deliveries above the ground floor will be dependant and determined
by the number of floors and use (or non-use) of a suitable lift within the
property.
Baggage
is restricted to cartons or suitcases with a maximum individual volume of 6
cuft, which can be delivered by one person only.
